The Long Night of Research (LNF) is Austria’s largest event dedicated to science, research, and innovation and is aimed at people of all ages. The event takes place every two years across Austria and has been held since 2005. 192,000 people took the opportunity to experience research and science first-hand. The scientific community was offering more than 3,000 lectures and interactive programs at 300 locations.
AITHYRA was part of it and had two activity booths at the campus of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, next to its sister institutes CeMM and IMBA.
- Robotics in Action: Participants experimented with automated pipetting.
- Pocket Game: A computer game and physical models of protein pockets designed to demonstrate how AI can revolutionize drug design.
