Thank you to the AITHYRA members who participated in the 20th Run for Cancer Research!
On 10 October 2026, the Unicampus Altes AKH was once again transformed into a running arena for a good cause. One lap is exactly one mile long, that is 1609 meters, and each round brought a donation to the Cancer Research Initiative of the Medical University of Vienna. Overall, 13 research grants, each 60.000 €, have been awarded to young researchers to support their translational cancer research idea. Thanks to everyone who brought attention and financial support to this initiative.
