Fostering the next generation of researchers is at the heart of what we do. Today, we were thrilled to welcome 20 scholars from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes to Aithyra.
Organized alongside Maximilian Werner and Lino Möhrmann, the visit was packed with academic exchange. Ismail Ceylan, Aithyra Adjunct Principal Investigator, opened the session with an engaging presentation, setting the stage for insightful discussion. This was followed by a collaborative research showcase where students from both Aithyra and the Studienstiftung presented their current work.
The dedication of this group was particularly evident when a (false) fire alarm interrupted the schedule. Rather than pausing the event, the students simply took their scientific discussions outside!
Thank you to everyone involved for a highly productive and memorable visit. We look forward to staying in touch and hope to welcome some of these bright minds back to Aithyra - maybe as future PhD researchers, PostDocs or PIs.
